What is the Joint Commission?
As of December 19th, 2009 Synaptic Resources, LLC, Synaptic Resources of Austin, LLC, Synaptic Resources of San Antonio, LLC, and Synaptic Resources of Florida, LLC became a Joint Commission Accredited organization. Synaptic Resources is not required to obtain Joint Commission Accreditation in order to provide IOM services but rather Synaptic Resources is committed to continuous improvement and delivering safe, high quality care. If you have a concern about patient care and safety that has not been addressed by the organization, please contact Administration. If these concerns still cannot be resolved, you may contact the Joint Commission directly.
The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit, national body that oversees the safety and quality of health care and other services provided in accredited organizations. Synaptic Resources’ ongoing compliance with the Joint Commission standards results in sound management and technician training practices in the day-to-day delivery of safe, high quality care and the Joint Commission’s unannounced ongoing surveys serve as an independent audit of our organization’s commitment to continuous quality improvement.
